Qualifications

• ARRT CT (R) Certification required or at hire
• BLS certification required within 60 days
• State licensure upon hire required
• IV competency required within 90 days
• 1-2 years CT experience in hospital preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain safety
• Complete studies within department time expectations
• Provide patient education and comfort
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with care team
• Stay updated with CT tech advancements and participate in education
• Assist and instruct students and junior technologists in protocols
