Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders; refer to Radiologist if discrepancies.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Interview patients for medical history; review EMRs for relevant data.
• Perform CT scanning from start to finish and dictate results.
• Administer IV contrast according to protocol; record type/amount.
