Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures with precision and safety. You will operate scanners, verify orders, prepare patients, and document exams in alignment with radiology protocols. Collaborative teamwork with radiologists and nurses is essential.

Responsibilities include handling IV contrast, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining equipment and safety standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification with ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per departmental protocols.
• Verify orders, prepare patients, and document exams and contrast usage.
• Maintain radiation safety and support patient care during procedures.
• Assist Radiologist during procedures and coordinate with clinical staff.

Education

ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from ARRT in CT
