Job summary

Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and related equipment in a fast-paced radiology department in Charlotte, NC. You will work under protocol, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT radiology certification (or NMTCB) with CT registry within one year, plus BLS. Prior experience with IV contrast and radiology systems is beneficial; rotating shifts and call may be required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB certification and CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify and refer orders with Radiologist when needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for CT scans.
• Perform CT scanning with proficiency and evaluate image quality.
• Assist in invasive procedures and maintain sterile technique as required.
• Rotate shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
