Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. You will operate CT scanners, IV contrast injectors, and post-processing programs, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The role requires ARRT certification (Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine) with CT registry within one year, and BLS. You will participate in a busy radiology department with patients of diverse ages and conditions.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB is required.
• Advanced registry from ARRT in CT must be obtained within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and refer to Radiologist when necessary.
• Identify patients and prepare them for CT procedures with explanations.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per protocol.
• Administer IV contrast following departmental guidelines.
• Maintain radiation safety and document procedures accurately.
• Assist during invasive procedures and coordinate with staff as needed.
