Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in accordance with department protocols. You will operate CT scanners, IV contrast injectors, and related equipment, while maintaining patient safety and documentation.

Responsibilities include verifying orders with Radiologists, preparing patients, reviewing medical history in EMR, and ensuring high-quality images. Rotations, safety adherence, and collaboration with the team are expected.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB and CT registry within one year of hire.
• Strong knowledge of radiology safety and infection control.
• Ability to operate CT scanners and monitor patient condition.

Responsibilities

• Verify requests and refer to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patient and explain procedures; prepare patient for CT.
• Review EMR for clinical history and record requisitions.
• Assist in CT scanning from start to dictation of results.
• Administer contrast per protocol; document type and amount.
