Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) in Charlotte, NC seeks a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality imaging per department standards. You will work under supervision to deliver timely imaging, manage contrast administration, and support radiologists in diagnostic procedures.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB CT registry within one year of hire and BLS, with emphasis on patient safety, accuracy, and adherence to protocols in a fast-paced medical

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate from ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Examina requests and verifies orders with Radiologist before performing exam.
• Properly identify patients and explain procedures.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMR as needed.
• Oversees exam from start to dictated results.
• Administers IV contrast per departmental protocols.
• Maintains radiation safety and clean, organized work area.

Education

Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program
