Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience in Cobb County. The role requires completing an accredited Radiologic Technology program and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience.

Responsibilities include performing CT procedures, maintaining ALARA, preparing rooms, verifying orders, and documenting results in RIS/PACS, while prioritizing patient safety and comfort in a collaborative care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms; report equipment issues promptly.
• Verify orders and patient IDs; explain procedures using AIDET.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers.
• Support department workflow and comply with regulations.
