Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and use ALARA principles to minimize dose.

The ideal candidate has ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, a completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiology experience, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, ensuring quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, maintaining ALARA principles to minimize dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Document studies accurately and finalize in RIS/PACS; monitor patient condition.
