Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification and CT certification preferred.
• Connecticut State License and CPR certification required.
• Six months to one year of CT experience required.
• Good communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations and ensure exams are completed timely.
• Operate radiographic equipment to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Prepare examination room with cleanliness and proper supplies.
• Explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Schedule radiologic examinations for proper billing and efficient operations.
• Participate in teaching and training of technologists and students.
• Operate CT scanners and related software to produce diagnostic CT images.
• Chaperone patients when necessary.
