Job summary

Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health, seeks an experienced radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in assigned areas. You will review radiologic consults, conduct daily inspections of rooms and equipment, and participate in training and development of staff and radiology students.

CT licensure with ARRT (R) certification is required, along with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State licensure CT and ARRT (R) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
• Reviews all radiologic consults for information or special instructions as observed by radiologists, medical staff and supervisors.
• Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each radiographic room/equipment assigned ensuring maintenance and cleanliness.
• Participates in the training and development of staff and radiology students.
