Job summary

Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in assigned areas. You will review imaging orders, monitor equipment, train staff and students, and ensure accurate documentation and charges in the system.

The role requires CT licensure (ARRT R) and a high school diploma. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State licensure CT; ARRT (R).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
• Reviews radiologic consults for information or special instructions.
• Performs daily room/equipment inspections and maintains cleanliness.
• Participates in training and development of staff and radiology students.
• Accurately enters information into the computer system and handles charges.
• Plans and implements care for assigned patients.
• Contributes to quality management and quality control programs.
• Chaperones patients when necessary.
