Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a CT Technologist in New Haven, Connecticut, to perform a variety of technical duties using advanced imaging equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and cooperation while producing quality CT images for interpretation. The role also involves participating in training opportunities and maintaining departmental workflow efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have an A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program degree, CT experience, and required certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program.
• One to three years of CT experience with routine imaging techniques.
• RT(R) certification by the ARRT and Connecticut State License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams using appropriate imaging protocols efficiently.
• Assist with scheduling and patient preparation communications.
• Ensure quality patient care for cooperation and satisfaction.
• Communicate information to minimize errors during shifts.
• Operate CT scanners using appropriate protocols safely.
• Participate in teaching and learning opportunities.
