Job summary

Akumin is seeking a CT Technologist for PRN coverage at our South Florida facilities. You will perform high-quality CT studies, ensure patient safety and communicate with radiologists to support diagnostic imaging.

Position requires ARRT registration (or NMTCB alternative where allowed), a state license, CPR, and strong customer service skills. Training may be provided for new technologists and Patient Coordinators.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT-registered for Computed Tomography; NMTCB acceptable in lieu of ARRT when allowed by the state.
• State license in Medical Imaging, if applicable.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high-quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists or Patient Coordinators when needed.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS).
