Akumin Inc. is hiring a PRN CT Technologist for our Jacksonville, FL facilities. The role focuses on patient safety, high‑quality CT studies, and clear communication with radiologists and staff.

Occasional training of new technologists or Patient Coordinators may occur. Requires ARRT CT registration (or NMTCB in lieu of ARRT where permitted), state licensure, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. This on‑site position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for cross‑training within our

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associates degree preferred
• ARRT CT registration (required)
• NMTCB CT certification acceptable in lieu of ARRT (state dependent)
• State Medical Imaging license (if applicable)
• CPR certification
• Active State Driver’s License
• Strong customer service and multitasking abilities
• Basic knowledge of computer applications

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and performance of CT studies
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers
• Possibly train new technologists/PCs
• Troubleshoot CT scanner and peripheral equipment
• Adhere to aseptic injection techniques and safety protocols
