Job summary

Akumin is seeking a CT Technologist at our South Florida facilities to support outpatient imaging services. The role focuses on patient safety, quality CT studies, and collaboration with radiologists.

PRN/part-time scheduling with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a national radiology provider. You will operate CT scanners, ensure safety protocols, and assist with patient coordination and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• ARRT CT certification (or NMTCB in lieu) or state license as applicable.
• CPR certification and valid state driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and high-quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists and patient coordinators.
• Troubleshoot CT scanner and related equipment.
• Maintain aseptic technique and pre-screen for contrast.
