Job summary

Akumin is hiring a CT Technologist for South Florida facilities in a PRN role. You will be responsible for patient safety and performing high quality CT studies while coordinating with radiologists and customers. Training of new technologists and patient coordinators may be required.

Applicants should hold a CT registration (ARRT or NMTCB in CT), state licensure, CPR, and a valid driver’s license, with strong customer service and multitasking skills. Vaccination and background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT CT registry or NMTCB in CT acceptable per state provisions.
• State license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Active State Driver’s License required.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists or Patient Coordinators as needed.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, etc.).
