Job summary

Akumin is seeking a CT Technologist for a PRN position at our South Florida facilities. The role focuses on patient safety, high-quality CT imaging, and effective communication with radiologists and team members.

Responsibilities include pre-screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast, producing diagnostic images, training new technologists or Patient Coordinators, and troubleshooting scanners and peripheral equipment.

• Ensure patient safety and perform high-quality CT studies.

• Communicate effectively with radiologists and patients.
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot CT scanners and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, etc.).
