Job summary

Akumin is a leading provider of outpatient radiology and oncology services, offering cutting-edge diagnostic imaging nationwide. We are hiring a CT Technologist on a PRN basis for our Deltona facility to ensure patient safety and perform high-quality CT studies.

You will communicate with radiologists and trainees, and may train new technologists and Patient Coordinators. The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification where applicable, state licensure, CPR, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• ARRT CT certification required; NMTCB acceptable in lieu of ARRT.
• State license and CPR certification required.
• Medical imaging licensure as applicable; driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high-quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists and Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, etc.).
