Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT examinations, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality imaging while following ALARA practices. You will work within a collaborative radiology team in Georgia.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at lowest dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history; verify orders and two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and contrast administration per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and complete documentation in RIS/PACS.
