Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to perform CT exams and related processing in accordance with departmental protocols. You will ensure high-quality imaging, patient comfort, and safety while supporting weekend, holiday, and off-shift coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include collaboration with schedulers and physicians, proper requisition handling, and ongoing participation in teaching and quality improvement activities to advance diagnostic imaging services.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Radiology preferred.
ARRT CT registry required unless trainee has 6 months to obtain.
CT State License required; CT Advanced Certification required unless trainee has 6 months to obtain.

Responsibilities

Performs all diagnostic radiographs and associated processing.
Uses knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy to perform CT exams using appropriate imaging protocols.
Assists in scheduling, requisitions, pre-authorization, and patient preparation communications.
Delivers quality patient care, safety screening, and enhances patient experience.
Maintains accurate record keeping and supports proper billing for exams.
Participates in teaching, learning, and research opportunities to expand professional knowledge.
