Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform a variety of radiologic procedures and provide proficient patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include patient education, room preparation, IV contrast handling, acquiring high-quality scans, documenting exams and maintaining safety standards while collaborating with the radiology team to ensure timely results.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED required.
• Graduation from an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program.

Responsibilities

• Explain examinations and prepare patients for CT procedures.
• Prepare rooms, load and arm the injector equipment.
• Maintain IV start proficiency per radiology guidelines.
• Assist patients on and off the scanner table and support flow.
• Acquire diagnostic CT scans with proper positioning and factors.
• Document exams, charges, insurance and day logs accurately.
• Annotate ROIs, measurements, reconstructions and reformations.
• Communicate effectively with team to ensure safe patient care.
