Job summary

WMCG is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality, safe imaging as part of a collaborative care team. The role involves performing CT procedures independently, adhering to ALARA principles, and optimizing image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.

You will prepare patients, explain procedures via AIDET, and ensure comfort and safety, while documenting in RIS/PACS and supporting department operations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications required are ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, obtain histories, explain procedures using AIDET, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate CT imaging equipment, administer contrast agents, and position patients correctly.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document final results in RIS/PACS.
• Maintain infection control, troubleshoot equipment, and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with patient transport, stock supplies, and perform clerical tasks as needed.
