Job summary

WMCG is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging as part of a collaborative care team. You will prepare patients, explain procedures using AIDET, monitor comfort and safety, and obtain clinical histories while maintaining infection control and equipment readiness.

You will review images for quality, finalize in RIS/PACS, administer contrast when needed, apply shielding, and support departmental workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT - R (Radiography).
• ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Administer contrast agents and use sterile techniques when necessary.
• Position patients and apply shielding appropriately.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain equipment and clinical environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support operational efficiency.

They operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring diagnostic accuracy while adhering to safety protocols to minimize dose exposure. The role involves preparing patients, explaining procedures using AIDET, maintaining patient comfort and safety, and obtaining clinical histories. Technologists must review images for quality, document accurately, and ensure proper finalization in RIS/PACS systems. They are also responsible for equipment maintenance, infection control, and supporting departmental workflows.
