Job summary

The CT Technologist at WMCG delivers high-quality, safe CT imaging as part of a collaborative care team. They perform procedures independently, prepare patients, explain steps using AIDET, and ensure comfort, privacy, and safety.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, contrast administration when needed, image review for diagnostic quality, accurate RIS/PACS documentation, and responding to emergencies while supporting department operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications.

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe imaging at WMCG as part of a collaborative care team. They perform CT procedures independently, ensuring diagnostic accuracy while adhering to safety protocols and ALARA principles. Key duties include maintaining equipment, preparing patients, explaining procedures using AIDET, and ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and safety. They operate imaging tools, administer contrast when needed, and review images for quality, repeating scans if necessary. Accurate documentation in RIS/PACS, responding to emergencies, and supporting department operations are essential. The role requires
