Job summary

WMCG is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services within a collaborative care team in Sandersville, GA. The role involves performing CT procedures, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring diagnostic image quality with patient safety a priority.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, procedure explanation, contrast administration, precise positioning, and image review for diagnostic acceptability, along with documentation, equipment care, and emergency response

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 1 year of radiology experience.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain steps.
• Position patients correctly and administer contrast as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and quality.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records.

Job description

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe imaging services at WMCG as part of a collaborative care team.

They perform CT procedures following department protocols, operate imaging equipment independently, and ensure diagnostic images meet quality standards while maintaining patient safety with minimal radiation exposure.

Key duties include preparing patients, explaining procedures, administering contrast agents, positioning patients correctly, and reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability.

They must accurately document procedures, manage equipment, monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support departmental operations by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
