Job summary

WMCG is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and support a collaborative care team. You will perform CT procedures per department protocols, optimize image quality, and minimize radiation exposure (ALARA).

Responsibilities include patient prep, contrast administration, image review, equipment maintenance, and accurate RIS/PACS documentation, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT - R and ARRT - CT certifications required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

• Prepare patients and explain procedures.
• Position patients and administer contrast as needed.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and infection control practices.

Job description

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe imaging services at WMCG as part of a collaborative care team.

They perform CT procedures according to department protocols, using technical expertise to acquire diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).

Key duties include preparing patients, explaining procedures, ensuring comfort and safety, administering contrast, positioning patients, and reviewing images for quality.

They must maintain equipment, follow infection control protocols, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS systems.

Additional responsibilities involve monitoring patient conditions, responding to emergencies, supporting departmental workflows, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience
• ARTR - R (Radiography) and ARRT - CT certifications
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
