Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT to join our Night shift team at METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER in Northeast Ohio. The role features 5x12 hour shifts every two weeks with on-call weekends.

You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, coordinate patient scheduling, educate patients, and collaborate with nurses, physicians and therapists in a fast-paced environment. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examinations.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
