Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the night shift in Northeast Ohio. You will perform CT scans, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient flow for inpatients and outpatients.

Must have ARRT registration, Ohio licensure, BLS, and CT credential. The unit emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient comfort, and collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• IV starts
• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings
• Assisting with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort
• On the spot critical thinking
• Effective communication skills
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team

Responsibilities

• Produce CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and comfort
• Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff in a CT team environment
