Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join its radiology team in Northeast Ohio. You will perform CT imaging, support CT-guided procedures, and collaborate with nurses, physicians and radiologists.

The role requires ARRT registration, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS. It also emphasizes patient education, accurate imaging, and the ability to work under stress. Nights, 60 biweekly hours, on-site with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision as part of the CT Team.
