Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the night shift in Northeast Ohio. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images and assisting with CT-guided procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include patient scheduling, education on procedures and imaging equipment, and working closely with radiologists, nurses and other care team members. A sign-on bonus is available for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examinations.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking; work under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians and other care team members.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

ARRT CT credential within 1 year

Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)

American Heart Association BLS Certification
