Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time night shift. You will deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging and ensure a supportive patient experience within a collaborative radiology team.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, a Radiologic Technology degree or equivalent, and BLS. Night shift with competitive hourly pay and shift-differential, plus benefits and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to reduce patient anxiety using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
