Ochsner Health System is seeking a CT Technologist for River Parish to perform routine CT imaging, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Strong knowledge of CT procedures and ability to work with diverse patient populations are essential.

The role requires completion of a radiologic technology program, ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility, a current state license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program is required.
• CT experience is preferred but not required.
• ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility within 90 days of employment is required or registry eligible and licensure ready.
• Current unrestricted license in state of practice and BLS by AHA are required.
• Advanced CT certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Operate imaging equipment independently per protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Assist with departmental operations and scheduling as needed.
