Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT radiography (R) certification.
• NMTCB certification or equivalent.
• Current unrestricted license in the state of practice.
• Advanced CT certification required within two years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Verifies physician order and procedure for accuracy.
• Operates imaging equipment to complete CT procedures per protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Maintains quality control procedures and regulatory standards.
• Assists in departmental operations and schedules.
• Adapts to patient population and maintains confidentiality.
• Performs duties with flexibility in hours including nights and weekends.
