Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. The role involves performing CT exams, adjusting techniques, and capturing diagnostic images while adhering to department guidelines and dose optimization.

You will operate imaging equipment, administer contrast agents, verify patient identity, explain procedures using AIDET, and monitor patients during exams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams, adjust techniques, and capture diagnostic images.
• Maintain equipment and infection control standards.
• Obtain clinical history, verify patient identity, and explain procedures using AIDET communication.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during exams.
• Administer contrast agents, position patients, and apply safety measures.
• Review images, repeat or correct as needed, and document procedures accurately.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment.
• Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulations.
