Job summary

Aura Health in Swainsboro, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with focus on diagnostic quality and patient comfort. You will work as part of a collaborative care team to deliver safe imaging and accurate documentation.

Requirements include 1 year radiology experience, accredited radiologic technology training, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certification. Night shifts, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment independently while ALARA.
• Perform exams, administer contrast, ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, explain procedures using AIDET.
• Review images for quality, document in RIS/PACS, and repeat if needed.
• Maintain equipment hygiene and support infection control.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, assist with life-support.
• Organize daily workflow and ensure regulatory compliance.

Role Overview:

The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They are valued clinical professionals, essential to a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures according to department guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently, adjusting techniques to maintain diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Perform exams, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat or correct as needed, and document accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Maintain equipment hygiene, report issues promptly, and support infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflows, support operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications including ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association.
