Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols to capture diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining safety and ensuring diagnostic quality.
• Clean and maintain equipment, identify issues, and adhere to infection control standards.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy, and administer contrast agents as needed.
• Position patients, apply shielding, review images for quality, and document procedures accurately.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment readiness.
• Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
