Key duties include obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures using AIDET, administering contrast with sterile technique, positioning patients, and reviewing images for diagnostic quality. They document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS and respond to emergencies, maintaining equipment and supplies.
Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications needed are ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS.
