Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will operate imaging equipment independently, adjust techniques to minimize radiation exposure, and follow infection control protocols.

Responsibilities include obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures using AIDET, administering contrast with sterile technique, and reviewing images for diagnostic quality.

Job description

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and supporting diagnostic accuracy. They operate imaging equipment independently, adjust techniques to minimize radiation exposure, and adhere to infection control protocols.

Key duties include obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures using AIDET, administering contrast with sterile technique, positioning patients, and reviewing images for diagnostic quality. They document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS and respond to emergencies, maintaining equipment and supplies.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications needed are ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS.
