Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and provide a supportive patient experience. You will join a collaborative care team in a fast-paced imaging department.

Responsibilities include performing CT procedures, maintaining safety standards, preparing patients, and ensuring accurate documentation in RIS/PACS. This role requires ARRT credentials and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol; venipuncture where applicable.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality; finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
