Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and patient‑centered care. You will perform CT procedures, ensure diagnostic image quality, and support a collaborative care team in a fast‑paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to infection control and regulatory guidelines while contributing to department workflow and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Capture quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques for ALARA.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and document appropriately.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations.
