Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. The role supports a collaborative radiology team and requires adherence to safety standards and patient-focused service.

You'll perform CT procedures, ensure ALARA dosing, prep patients, verify orders, document in RIS/PACS, and participate in daily workflow to maintain efficient department operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize radiation dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, screen contraindications; verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Complete accurate documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; monitor patient condition.
