Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, maintain patient safety, and collaborate with a clinical team to support department goals.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT; BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and use techniques to maintain diagnostic quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and ensure doses follow ALARA principles.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, screen contraindications, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures clearly using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and complete documentation in RIS/PACS.
