Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion needed.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and ALARA dose principles implemented.
• Disinfect rooms/equipment and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and use two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and prep; address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during the visit.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
