Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, manage imaging equipment, and ensure safety per ALARA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology is required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications are required.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and dose management per ALARA.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and reduce patient anxiety using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol and perform venipuncture when needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as required.
• Organize daily workflows to support department efficiency.
