Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and supportive patient care. You will perform CT exams per department guidelines, ensuring standardization and diagnostic accuracy while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certifications (Radiography and CT) and BLS, with at least 1 year in Radiology. The role offers full-time hours at Cobb Hospital with service-oriented growth and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R certification for Radiography.
• ARRT-CT certification for Computed Tomography.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and minimize dose (ALARA).
• Prepare, position, and transport patients; explain procedures and reduce anxiety.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications.
• Complete documentation in RIS/PACS and manage study transfers and retrievals.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock life-support equipment as needed.
