Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures per departmental protocols, operate scanners, and manage post-processing and contrast administration. The role includes coordinating with Radiology for discrepancies and ensuring patient safety.

The position requires ARRT radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification with CT registry within one year of hire, and BLS. Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders with Radiologist when needed.
• Identify patients and provide explanations of procedures.
• Review patient histories and correlate with exam results.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and hospital safety procedures.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.
