Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus - CT is hiring a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures and collaborate with Radiologists. The role includes preparing patients, administering contrast as needed, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT-recognized training in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology and be able to work 36 hours per week in a full-time capacity at Atrium Health Cabarrus - CT.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Properly identify patients and prepare for procedures with brief explanations.
• Interviews patients for medical history and reviews EMR for pertinent history.
• Assumes responsibility for the exam from start to completion of dictated results.
• Performs CT scanning and assists Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
