Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure safety and accuracy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes adherence to ALARA, infection control, and clear patient communication. A radiologic technology program completion and ARRT certifications are required, with a minimum of one year radiology

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines to capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; identify and report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two patient identifiers before any exam.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care during the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol, using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; complete documentation in RIS/PACS and transfers.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain crash cart and life-support equipment.
• Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes; support department flow across modalities.
