Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety as this aligns with our mission to make hope, healing, and well-being accessible to every person as an expression of God's love. Our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for procedures (including administering IV contrast & patient positioning), providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

The primary responsibility of a CT Technologist is to ensure physicians and care team receive high-quality images for diagnosis or treatment assessment. This is a full-time role with shifts Wednesday to Saturday, 6:30am - 4:00pm, at our outpatient center. Call and holidays are required.

This CT Technologist will be responsible for:

• Performing high-quality CT procedures.
• Promoting good will among co-workers and other departments with a positive, comforting demeanor.
• Maintaining compliance with education and health requirements.
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, in accordance with regulations and policies.

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree

Experience: Less than 1 year Radiologic Technologist Experience

License and Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required OR
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required OR
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• FL Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
