Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an MRI Technologist for our MRI Scan department. This role involves performing MRI exams, ensuring high-quality diagnostic procedures, and maintaining patient safety. The technologist will prepare patients, explain procedures, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic information. The position is full-time, evening shift (Wednesday - Saturday, 9:00 pm - 7:30 am), with call and holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures.
• Maintain good rapport with colleagues and patients, demonstrating a positive and comforting demeanor.
• Adhere to mandatory education and health requirements.
• Protect self, patients, and others from magnetic field-related risks.
• Identify, prepare, and document medications as prescribed, following regulations and policies.

Qualifications

Education: Vocational School required; Associate's Degree preferred.

Experience: No prior experience required in customer service, radiology, MRI, or hospital settings.

Licenses & Certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT (R) or CRT or ARRT (MR), BCLS, CPR, and licensed technologist in MRI required.
